Default TDM Altiverb!!!

This announcement sort of slipped by unnoticed, I am surprised no one has mentioned it yet. Altiverb for Windows XP coming, as well as Mac TDM versions, RTAS Pro Tools 7 optimized versions and Intel Mac versions.

I do take issue with their statement that they were the first convolution plug in ever. I believe that honor goes to Acoustic Mirror a plug in inside of Sound Forge by Sonic Foundry (now Sony). Also they go on to say that for three years they were the only game in town and of course again they are ignoring that Acoustic Mirror was there all along. Still is.

Other than that some pretty cool things for the future.

XP TDM and More

I saw that too, and it made me happy! I hope they do a good job of it, as I always liked the sound of AltiVerb (but hated coping with the latency)...

Has anyone from AudioEase mentioned what the reverb length restrictions will be with the TDM version? Will they be similar to the situation with TL|Space?

I would also be interested in what chip restrictions there are. Is this Accel only? HD? Mix (yeah, right)?
