EuCon 2023.11.0.121 Dropping Off

All,

I'm running Pro Tools 2023.12.1 with EuCon 2023.11.0.121 and quite frequently my system will lose any connection between the two. I am left to "Restart EUCON Applications" until it happens again.

I am using an Avid Dock and two S1's.

Along with this behavior, and I'm using this as an example I use the UAD Oxford Limiter on an Aux track and I am unable to use some behavior of the Dock encoders to control certain parameters of this plugin.

In Pro Tools I highlight the Aux track then on my Dock select Inserts. From there I will select the UAD Oxford Limiter and the encoder for Input Gain works but Threshold, Attack and Release do not change with their corresponding encoders. This behavior is not limited to the Oxford Limiter. If there is a reason that this is by design can someone please explain it along with why I need to restart EuCon frequently?

We need to find out what is dropping. Is it a surface or a Tablet...look in the surfaces tab to see if it's one thing. When one thing drops the whole EUCON model has to rebuild to the new surface arrangement so it can look like its everything. Hi Eddie!

Both S1's and the Dock appear in the My Surfaces section the last time I looked. I use all iPad's by the way. This has been going on throughout various iPadOS versions. All iPad's are currently at 17.3.1

The S1's use iPad Air 10.9"
The Dock uses iPad Pro 12.9"

I have attached the Help, About EuControl

I just checked the WiFi speeds on the iPad - all come in very string at 595Mbps over 63.5 Mbps

This behavior happens quite a bit. Thank you for helping.

Can you look in the Surfaces tab when this happens and see whats missing?

Hi - I have been. Everything is present. What else can I look for?

In fact it has been fine all afternoon but I stopped playback to answer this message and when I started up again I lost all faders on my S1's and Dock yet the My Surfaces shows perfectly

Is PT in the Application filter list in EuControl?

I'm unfamiliar with this but am assuming you mean in EuControl then the Applications Tab? No, PT is not listed but my password application, 1Password is

This could be your issue. Remove the password App and add PT to the list. You need to make sure you are focused on PT before pressing the + button
