Default Mac buffer errors

I've delt with hardware buffer errors serveral times while using protools on a PC. I was able to make the changes needed in the registry to fix the problem. Now that I'm using a Mac (G4), I have no idea where to go and trouble shoot this problem. I descrease and increase the buffers to no avail. Does the Mac have a 'registry' that needed to be edited.

I know this topic has discussed in the PC section, but I'm new to the Mac environment so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, basically - running the 002r with PT 7.3 on a G4. Not sure what other information is needed. Currently not going over 24tracks.

Maybe the procesor and ram. Go to the apple menu in the finder and click about this mac.

Which G4? There are many, and not all will work with that combo.

Have you looked at this?
