PT 10.2 & errors with VIs

Ia m getting better NI response on 10.2. Used to get clicks and pops and all sorts pretty randomly that meant I had restart PT to continue. That's all gone away now

Yes, my workflow is as you tested...involves leaving as many VI's in place as possible and lots of midi....I have about 10 VI's working with lots of plug-in effects and then crunch...it all stops and gets to hte stage where I can only just back out (hard to reload a maxed out save).

Tell me more about:
1. disabling ADC discussed above - why how
2. VE Pro workflow and where I can reveiw this. Sounds like its for me.

Ok had a look at VE Pro....looks large on features - most I wont use yet.

If all I want is a 64bit access to my RAM for all the VI's I can throw at it - to keep woking in midi for my workflow is there something more basic / easy that I should look at OR just get it? OR man up and convert to audio more often OR ...?

Is there a really clear and simple description of setting up VE Pro in Pro Tools?

I tried it and could never get it to work.

I had to resort to using Hollywood Strings with Logic instead of using it with VE Pro in Pro Tools.

It is quite a confusing program to set up.
