Default a way to quickly snap automation parameters to ZERO values?

I have heaps of praise for Protools plug-in controls and the amazing flexibility of the automation.

But is there a way, on an EQ plug-in, for example, to snap a parameter to "zero" or "neutral" or "default"? In real time, while recording automation? Even if it wasn't in real time, it would help. On the 02R, for example, to reset an eq parameter or bandwidth to ZERO or DEFAULT, you just double click on the button you want to zero out.
