can't create Bar/Beat markers

Working on a project creating Bar Marker with no problems till 2mn into the song I'm started to get this message no matter where I try to create a new beat Marker:
"The bar/Beat Marker(s)could not be created because they are too close or too far apart from a neighboring Bar?Beat Marker to support a valid tempo"

before getting this message I was getting high pitch sound on my main outputs when passing the 2mn mark after my last valid marker.

After deleting a few beat markers I was able to continue to the end of the song

I'm seeing this error on the latest PT (ultimate, 2023.12.1) when I wasn't before.

PT also unable to do Bar:Beat generation, can't capture analyse even when a 2 bar section selected!

I've not seen this before the latest PT update.
