*** USB programmable keyboards? ***
Any suggestions on USB programmable keyboards? 19 Hot Keys on the Macally ImediaKey USB keyboard, but will they work with PT-LE?
I've got a G3 Blue & White with the cool little original keyboard. PTLE 5.1.1. --thanks

Try Contour Designs' Shuttle PRO. It has 13 fully programmable keys plus jog and shuttle wheels. It's 99 bucks (street price) and connects via USB. I love it!

Check out PI enginering's X-Keys. They make a variety of USB key pads and controlers. The small one is 20 keys (turning one into a "shift" key gives you 38 functions) for $99. They simply record keystrokes so anything you can do from the keyboard can be programed to a single key on the keypad. Also once programed the key pad needs no drivers so you can take it with you to another machine and just plug it in. I use it on an Le system to give me some of the one key comands I'm used to on a TDM system. Works like a charm.
