How many inputs, Mbox2 PRO?

`How man simoultainous inputs does an Mbox2 Pro really have?
In the info on the digidesign page it says 6 simoultainous (in some pages for other stores, it says four). Does this include the spdif?
It is slightly unclear, I think. If you count the number of holes in the actual hardware box, they are 8 + pdif. If you could use all of them simultainously that would abviously be 10 channels, so I guess that isn't the case. Some of the people claim that you could only use 4 inputs simultainously + spdif. Being a pesimist, that seems most likely, but I just want to assure myself that I haven't misunderstood something.

Not all "Holes" are inputs. (NTTAWWT)

The MBox 2 Pro is capable of 6 simultaneous inputs; 4 analog inputs and 2 digital inputs via S/PDIF.

Not every "hole" is an input no, but only half of the inputs can be used at a time. :/

So the DIs on the front are on the same channels as the micinputs at the rear, and the phono inputs are on the same channels as the the two line inputs at the rear?
