Default 2 digi-001s in one system??

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if it is possible to run 2 digi-001s sytems(2 digi cards) in the same PC/Mac? If so does this give you the ability for 16 in and outs??

Nope, it can not be done.

The closest you could come would be getting two Digi 001's and two computers and installing one Digi 001 into each (seperate) computer. Then you can lock them together via MTC and word clock (S/PDIF or ADAT lightpipe).

Hello,

No, multiple Digi001’s will not be recognized by Pro Tools LE. You may, however, increase the number of analog inputs or outputs of a Digi001 system to 16 by using an 8 channel, ADAT optical interface. Devices include:

Apogee AD-16 and DA-16

Alesis AI-3:

Fostex VC8:

RME ADI-8 sereies interfaces:

Tango 24:

Note: Some of these interfaces are AD or DA or both.

I hope this helps.

Mike
