Some midi instruments fail to play in looped playback

Hey all!

I'm a recent adopter of Pro Tools from Ableton and I love it... Except yesterday I hit an interesting issue. I have the Sonivox orchestral libraries as well as a few synths running (7 instrument tracks total), and sometimes I just get two of the synths and the Sonivox instruments don't play.

They'll hit their first notes and then stop, while the other instruments continue.

Today I experimented with not using looped playback, and it immediately played as normal. Any idea why this could be happening? Sometimes it works in looped, and then most of the time it doesn't. And if I start prior to where those other instruments enter in looped (without an actual section selected), they also don't work. But not looped they work perfectly. I wish I could give even more specifics but I'm really not sure what to say. I have all of my outputs sent to the right place (SPDIF and to my Focusrite USB Drivers), etc.
