Default Clip Gain doesn't follow trim edits bug?

Try this,

- place a clip on the timeline (something consistent like a tone)
- select a portion inside the clip and do an apple-t to cut out some of the head and tail
- select it the clip
- trim down the volume automation drastically (-20dB)
- convert the volume automation to clip gain
- pull out the heads and tails of the clip

Result should be that the clip gain follows the edit on the head of the clip (stays at -20) but not on the tail of the clip (jumps back up to 0)...how come? Seems like a bug to me.

Curious to hear if others discover the same thing.

Thanks!
JR
