Updating my M-Powered 9

I just got pro tools 9 M-Powered and i want to update it to 9.0.3
I downloaded 9.0.3 from here in the full pro tools 9 forum. I had to download the updater because i could find the full installer and i bought the boxed version. When i try and use the updater it gives me this messege ''this updater cannot locate a valid Pro tools installation on your system. Press ok to exit''
This doesnt make any sence because i have being using pro tools already and kept getting that problem with the play button freezing on me from time to time and im sick of it.
Any help here plz im at a loss for support.

Also another thing that is annoying me when i import a midi file and choose my virus ti and i want to change the sounds of seperate parts as on loop playback. As soon as it loops a section it goes back to a default setting of sounds which i dont want. How do i fix this?
