Default New contest for mystery interface!
Someone linked to this on Gearslutz. Apparently a new interface. It mentions "next generation Avid audio tools". A contest to win whatever it is. In the contest rules link it mentions an MSRP of $899.

I have no idea how he found this or how you get to it other than the link:

EDIT: Apparently it's mentioned on Avid's Facebook page.

Yet another "contest" for US and 'some' Canadian residents. Apparently the rest of us don't matter enough to include.

Sounds like the re-up of the mBox Pro with the Avid name plate to coincide with the mBox 3.

Yeah and got an email from some store, dont' remember which, with $100 off all remaining Mbox 2's. Guess the new ones ought to be here soon.

You definitely do matter - it's just that the rules for contests when doing them outside the U.S. becomes extremely convoluted. In other words - more trouble than it's worth. If international regulations were simplified, it would be easier for us to do these sorts of things...

Is it that surprising? Even most Canadian contests often exclude Quebec.

The reason is ''la regie des loterie et course '' ask that any company who do a contest leave a deposit in case there is a fraud in the contest , and that's not the case in the other province , so most of the company who don't want to leave a deposit will exclude Quebec, or any other province , state or country who ask for
deposit........
