iLok/plug update for W7 build ???

I'm building a new W7/i7/LE8.04 rig soon (see my other thread). My iLok has the below plugs for my existing WinXP PT7.x rig. I'm planning on keeping this computer untouched, as a backup PT system. (Actually, it will become my new "office" computer.) If I upgrade/install all the below plugs for my new W7 build, will the OLDER plug versions still work on my old rig? I seem to recall, for example, that the newer MPTK2 license requires you to "surrender" the older MPTK1 license. Ideally, I'd like to retain the old versions AND get all the upgrades for the new rig, all on one iLok dongle. Will this work? Many thanks !!!

The newer MPTK and older MPTK iLok licenses are identical.
The latest MPTK 2 installer will be required. Someone will help you get that, I'm sure.
All the other plugs are available for download.
Always a good idea to load the latest version of your plugs.

Thanks, EJ. So let's make sure I understand this. If I buy & install the MPTK2 upgrade on my new W7/PT8.04 build, will my old XP/PT7 rig still run MPTK1 simply by plugging the iLok from rig to rig? Won't I have to "surrender" the MPTK1 license to get the MPTK2 upgrade license?

There's no difference between the iLok license for the MPTK 1 and the MPTK 2.
You do NOT NEED to buy an MPTK 2 upgrade for the track expander to work with W7, you just need the new installer.
The new installer isn't that hard to come by.
All the MPTK 2 upgrade does is gives you Eleven LE and Structure LE, and makes you swap your MPTK license for an IDENTICAL license in the process.
If you want Eleven LE and Structure LE, then buy the upgrade.
If you don't, ask someone to give you access to the MPTK 2 installer.
