Default Artist Control knobs leave much to be desired

Is it just my Artist Control that has unsatisfactory knobs? As in, they are inconsistent and inaccurate when you are tweaking values? I.e., sometimes you turn a knob a small distance and it moves the value a certain amount. And then 2 seconds later, that same distance moves the value a much different amount. Or sometimes you move it a lot and the value barely moves at all. And this keeps changing. It makes them basically unusable.

Plus there are too many buttons to push simply to start using an eq or whatever you're going for... I need something better. Anyone else in this boat? I may have to get a Raven MTi or an S3 if they ever make one for PT (not venue version).

You are definitely not alone! This controller is more like MOUSE ASSIST than controller! The more hoops I jump through to get one button touch functions, the more sub-menus it seems that I end up having to go through just to reach that function and those knobs are ridiculously inaccurate!

It took me a very long time to customize my MC Control to a point of actually using it in my work and I've noticed that 95% of the time, I just use the mouse to access any control that the knobs were supposed to address! I just punch the numbers in directly. Life is too short, ya know?

I started a post on Ideascale about adding a linear knobs option.

Please consider voting on it!
