Default CM Motor Mix firmware Help!

I just bought a used motor mix off ebay from a georgia pro audio company. It has firmware version 1.07 and won't communicate properly with 5.0-6.0. I even called digi tech support to make sure it wasn't a mistake on my part. The seller has been as helpful as possible, but CM labs is very difficult to deal with. ANYone have 1.08 or 1.09 Motor Mix Drivers????? Know where I can dl them? Checked all over CM's limited page and digidesign's- not a trace. PLEASE Help! Its sitting here in front of me, begging to be used! email me! [email protected] !!

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems,. It is strange 1.07 wont work,. My Motor Mix is fine with the 32trk Beta, and my firm ware is 1.06. I dont know if this helps but once, well over a year ago when my Motor Mix stoped working (beffore 32trk beta) Digi swore it was the firmware, turned out to be an intermitant midi cable. But Digi swore it should never hwve worked.
I am sorry i cant help more than that.
Peace

interesting. i'm pretty confident in my brand new 6' monster midi cables, however. i also can't find anything wrong with my setup. when i get a chance, i'm going to try it on another machine. just reinstalled all os and software for some other reason and it still doesn't work. i'll keep trying.
