Default automation points

Hi.
Is there a way to change the automation point in to curves?
The volume jumps to fast and it’s not ok.
Is there a setting to make the change much smoother?
Like letting ProTools knowing that I want a 5-7ms fade before acting?
The “jump” is to fast and sometime it is too obvious.

Default Re: automation points

I made a print screen to give details..
So, does Pro Tools have some volume curves, to replace points, for automation?
It take to much time to write more points to make by myself that volume curve.

I don't know of a way to make PT automatically smooth out square/hard automation. You can make a selection (before to after the level jump), and hit the key X to create a linear ramp.

You could try "Glide to Current" in the automation section of the edit menu.
*this maybe HD only
