Can G4 400mHz use Panther for protools (002)???
I have a G4 400mHz running 10.2.8.
Digi 002 and protools work great, but my computer doesn't recognize my CD/DVD burner. The burner works great with a G4 running Panther, but I don't know if I can upgrade and run Panther with the 400 mHz G4. Any idea? Thanks. |

I ran my 001 on a G4/450 (which incidentally I'm selling in the buy&sell forum right now!) with Panther. 512MB of ram. It worked great- I never used tons of plugs with it.
Don't know about a 002, since it uses Firewire. |
