Default Digigram card in Powerbooks

I am in search of a 24 bit recording solution for Powerbooks. I want to be able to lay down tracks with the Digigram card and Vision DSP (or some supported software), and then use export audio or OMF tool to transfer the data into my ProTools Mix workstation.

I heard the 24 bit ASIO driver is not expected till December.

I don't like to use Vision, but I have a copy of it and I don't want to pay for additional software with the Digigram card so I figured I'd use it.

Has anyone transfered sessions between Vision DSP and PT?

My opinion is that Digidesign should get into bed with Digigram and make a professional Powerbook solution for ProTools users. What a concept.
