Error: 3 on Start Up

I recently started getting this message upon firing up ProTools 9.0.6 on my Macbook Pro running 10.7.4. It started up immediately after I had used my Yamaha DM1000 as a Control Surface (via HUI mode).

Now, Protools hangs for about a minute on start up, during the Midi initialization, and then gives me the Error: 3 message. Protools then opens up and works fine for editing, but I can no longer see my Control Surface.

Any ideas? My search of the knowledge base is proving fruitless.
