Microsoft want you to think that on Macs there are problems, but the problems is in the code of their software that was appositely prepared to crash on Mac machines.

First of all we all know that Microsoft is the worst code programmer in the world.
Since i use Omniweb and Mail for os X and Eudora + Opera in mac os 9.1 the world "crash" is history!

Just put every Microsoft software in the trash!

Second: Mac os X is conceptually the n.1 system in the world and in the history, but is't not yet really born. I use it because i like it, but it's not yet fast and versatile as Mac os 9.1.

I have no more crashes in my 9600/G3 400 since I deleted all stuff from microsoft (office 98, IE, outlook). I bouth an iMac where I use these programs now. The iMac do crashses, but 9600 is solid like a rock (working 12 hours per day)!!! I'm not against microsoft but i don't like their software. Fidelis.

FWIW,

I agree with most on this post - for pro audio, Mac is king. I run OS 9.0.4 on a 9600, and my machine has never crashed while on audio duties (Pro Tools, Jam, SCII OMS, etc.), only with internet apps. Also, when my projects go out for further production, I can rest assured that any other major production house will have PT running on a Mac - it's the standard in PT houses worldwide!

A non ProTools thing, but hey... Macs crash... and we need to keep our machines running smooth. Microsoft has release SR1 for Explorer at http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...0Installer.bin (small download) Plug-ins might be the problem, this is to fix that. As with Entourage, always launch Explorer first if you can then Entourage. This solved my crashes.

No Microsoft= no crashes. this happened to me

(Newspapers tell that Windows XP is a perfect spy in you HD, a big brother, and i think that even Explorer is spying in every computer, Mac included.

You know, Cia and Fbi, in the last decade, stopped spying enmy, they just made industrial spying, that's why they...are absolute ignorants!

I hope they will return to their original task!

Hey Guys:

Can't we all just get along?

Obviously, those of us who are devoted to our Macs must learn to accept the desire of our Wintel brethren to embrace their XP driven machines and their king, BG, no matter how gloriously deluded they may be.

JUST TEASING!!!!!!!
