Default Problems "incree h/w buffersize" in playback/recording

HAVEING A HUGE PROBLEM WITH THE INCREASEING H/W BUFFER SIZE POPING UP WHEN I PLAYING BACK AND RECORDING EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS TO BE WORKING FINE HERE IS SOME INFO IN MY COMPUTER CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME?? IT WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRICIATED!

PROTOOLS 8 M-BOX MINI
DOWNLOADED THE CS3 PACKET

Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.01.2600 Service Pack 3

Physical Memory : 3072 MB RAM
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 560J @ 3600 MHz
Hard Disk : WDC (160 GB)
Hard Disk : EX-2.0 WD (500 GB)

A P4 isn't much processiong power to run PT 8. That's my first guess....

Yep I agree... i have a Q6600 and it still has a hard time with pro tools 8,
you could try bumping up ur memory.. that might help a little bit.
