Default deltafw.sys causes Page Fault Blue Screen Error

deltafw.sys is the firewire driver for ProjectMix I/O - I am constantly plagued by the blue screen of death telling me there is a page fault in non paged area caused by deltafw.sys - I'm running XP Home - 1 GB RAM Dual Core, (2) 160 GB harddrives, I minimized/eliminated all non-essentials as per www.windowsxp.net - the only thing I haven't tried ('cause Dell in not cooperating, and M-Audio is not helping much either) is going into BIOS to disable caching & shadowing as the recurring error message suggests. Anyone ever have a similar scenario? Do I need to even run page file in my virtual memory, or should I try setting that to "off" completely (currently set to the recommended custom setting of 1.5 to 2X RAM)? Headed for my 19th nervous breakdown here...thanks in advance..

Meanclown, I was wondering if you have found any solution. I am running a Dell 360 workstation and have had the same blue screen pop up lately, since I just updated my Project Mix firewire driver.

Hi Mike

What's your old firewire driver version?

Do you checked if your Windows IRQ are using diferent IRQ to your Firewire PCI card.
( control panel>system>properties>hardware>manager - you can to show only IRQs )
