PODs Sounddiver wont launch anymore

Are you using windows XP ..
Becasue ive never been able to get Soundiver for the POD working with XP !
98 no problem.. it fires up great....

has anyone else had this problem and solved it???

Yap, it´s on XP. But it has been running until a while ago.

Line6 is working on a replacement called ToneTransfer.. All I know is the bass pod [pro] isn't supported in it yet. A major reason they are making the replacement is 1. XP sucks for SD and 2. no OSX.

If you are on XP, check out PatchWizard. Back in my XP days that is what I used and it worked like a champ. Reads all the line6 library files, etc.

I downloaded the trial. It scans quite nice, but that thing has no control for the Pod output level. [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]
At least I couldn´t find it.

As I had to chose a low volume amp model and also to take out a lot of bass and treble it became all too quite and ceased even more by itself. Finally there was no signal anymore. For a moment I thought the pod had been broken, but the phenomenon only appears through that software.

Anyhow, I hope Line6 will bring out their own software soon.
