Default Ventura Plugin Compatibility

Hi all,

I've searched the forum, as well as plugin company sites, and I feel mostly secure but thought I'd ask...

Has anyone run into any plugins not playing nice with macOS Ventura?

I'm considering updating my M1 Max setup to Ventura. I switch between Native and Rosetta 2 when needed. The main plugin companies I use are below.

Avid
FabFilter
iZotope
Waves
McDSP
Nugen
SoundRadix
Dolby Atmos Renderer
AudioEase
Celemony
TheCargoCult

There is nothing in Ventura itself that should cause issues, but depending on ARM support you may or may not be able to run PT natively.

After third ARM-compatible PT release you would expect plugin companies support it already so why not send them a message if a plugin is missing? I have promised to keep my patience until year end, but after that (over 1yr of ARM supported PT) it is unacceptable if a plugin does not work.

With that said, Avid are you listening, Sibelius is still not ARM-native...

It seems like everything I use regularly is fine running NATIVE, except Lexicon and Antares. Must be in Rosetta mode if I want to see them.

Thank you.

I'm not too concerned with Native vs Rosetta 2 really since I know which plugins are working in Native and which aren't. I was more curious if anyone ran into plugin issues after updating to Ventura.

No issues with Ventura here.

Thanks all three of you. I'll take the plunge. Figured it would be safe after all I read, but appreciate this info too
