(-9105) Error Occurred When Switching Sessions
1. I am working a normal session. And I need to open another session. For example Reel01 and Reel02.
2. So I close my current session. After it totally closed. I double click the other session file which in another session folder. The dialogue windows flash a few seconds and then an error occurs indicating "Could not complete your request because (-9105) while translating Tracks". 3. When I click OK. The dialogue window disappear. If I double click again. The session may open successfully. But sometimes pro tools will quit unexpectedly. 4. As someone said before. I try to right-click on the second session while the Pro Tools is in the front. Choose open with pro tools. It works. 5. I also have seen many of users said that Altiverb may cause this issue because -9105 is a plugin activation error. But when I Remove All Altiverb(7.2.9) Plugins (not make inactive) in these two sessions. This error appeared again when I do the switchover. Hope This Annoyed Issue Can Be Solved. I Will Keep On Trying Other Ways To Find The Problem. If Anyone has tried any ways, I really hope u can discuss below. Pro Tools HD 11.3.2 HD MADI & Sync HD HD Driver 11.3.2 OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 |

Re: (-9105) Error Occurred When Switching Sessions
You aren't by chance using Console 1 are you? I've been having a problem with it being the culprit of a ton of -9105 errors.

Re: (-9105) Error Occurred When Switching Sessions
Altiverb also threw these errors on session close when using certain third party IRs

Re: (-9105) Error Occurred When Switching Sessions
Hi, Andrew! Thank you for your reply!
I don't use Console 1 and I also have read your post about this issue. Maybe Console 1 has the same crash-point with Altiverb. |

Re: (-9105) Error Occurred When Switching Sessions
Quote:
You are right. I have found that Once the error occured, No matter Altiverbs exist or not in my session. The 9105 error do will come up. Only if I restart the Pro Tools App, the error doesn't show any more while I switching sessions with no Altiverbs. One more thing I want to say. The Altiverb in my session was imported from another session. So When I delete the Altiverb and REinsert a new Altiverb and do some automation edit on altiverb track. The error doesn't show any more. |
