Atmosphere crashing PT 7.0..........spectrasonic

Was working fine, had three atmos and a pair of Stylus running . Opened new session launched atmosphere and system crashes. Got a deadline and this ain't good

mac G5 with all the stuff, hey it was working fine. Something with the firewire? Now it will not launch the other session with Atmosphere on it...........yeaks

Did you do all the General Troubleshooting steps as outlined in the thread near the top of the forum?

Once you try that, try going into your plug-ins folder and deleting the Atmosphere.dat shortcut that's there and replace it with a new one ... make sure it's a shortcut first though! The actual 9gb .dat file should be in your applications folder (or other location that you specified on install), but if for some reason it's in your plug-ins folder don't delete it b/c you'll have to reinstall the giant file from the disks again. An item that is a shortcut has a little arrow in the bottom left corner of the icon... it's also in the kilobyte range as far as size since it's actually just pointing to a much bigger file. So delete that shortcut and make a new shortcut and drop it in there... you can also try re-installing the latest version of the RTAS plug-in too.
