Enable the Meter ruler view to see if any changes were inserted inadvertently.
Also, is "Follow Meter" lit blue on the click track controls?

Lastly, try importing the session data into a new session might help. Try both with & without the click track. Then re-instantiate a new click track if necessary.
If you know the exact tempo things were recorded you can realign things in the new session if tempo issues persist after importing data to a new session.

Does sound like the conductor track got disabled though. Tweakhead's advice to open session backups sorted by date is a good idea.
And you still have your audio files that can be dropped back into an aligned session.

Take77- Thanks for those suggestions. I’ll be on the first two of them when I get my head back. Gotta take a timeout. I think I can lose the click now and not suffer the pain. It’s always best to have it but??? So, what steps do I need to take to import the session data into a new session? Did this once 10 years ago but have no idea now. I’ve also reverted back to earlier versions successfully, but a lot of work gets lost, unless there’s a way to restore that. I appreciate your help here. RB

Tweakhead- Thank you too. I have always operated with the conductor track enabled (blue). I have a sneaking suspicion that this may have something to do with that tempo ruler. Again, thanks.

If you still need to give importing session data a try after checking the tempo & meter rulers:

Create a new empty session with a matching sample rate and bit depth of the original session.

From the main menu go to File>Import>Session Data.

Navigate to & select (double click) the session file that you want to import.

An options box will open so that you can select which tracks and which data to import (or not import).

If that doesn't "reset" things and your original session is one tempo, maybe you could exclude the Tempo/Meter data, import everything else and just manually change the tempo after the import.
Just in case the problem lies in the tempo data.

You can also try both including/excluding the click and create a new click track to see if that works.

Update: Just explored the Tempo Ruler options and noticed the "Follow Metronome Click" option in the Res drop-down menu. See if that's enabled.

Just another thought - you haven't changed the session start time have you?

we still didn't get a screenshot, so all of this "help" is sheer guesswork on our part.

your 2nd link is not a clickable link unless there is a space or carriage return before "https".

you're zoomed in on only 2 bars of the timeline.
we cannot see any tempo markers or the session start tempo marker.

double-click on the magnifying glass tool to zoom out and show the entire timeline.
take another screenshot of the Edit Window with the full window visible.

Red Raven Audio, here are your screenshots, but the resolution is poor compared to your originals:

There are file size restrictions when you click on the attachments button (paperclip) for your post:

Manage Attachments - Avid Pro Audio Communit.jpg

Using a link to a web location of the original will avoid those size restrictions that occur when the image is uploaded to the forum.

Have you tried toggling the Grid note value from 1/16th note to 1/8th note, to quarter note, half note, etc until you find the right grid alignment? That’s worked for me before.
