unable to find currently running copy of pro tools
after updating my pro tools to version 2023.6, all previous session will not open. it keeps saying:unable to find currently running copy of pro tools
I have trashed preference, but its still not working: Please I need help from anyone who had encountered simillar problems and was able to solve it. Thanks |

If your Pro Tools iLok license has an expiration, you would not be able to download versions of Pro Tools released after that expiration date.
However, you can find out your expiration date in your My Avid account If it is expired, You should be able to download the last licensed version by clicking on your Pro Tools product, then on the link there that says: VIEW Software Download Links & Product Details You can also see the expiration date on your iLok License Manager application on your computer. Check those first. Then let us know what you find, and also give your OS details, Pro Tools version, and any system details that will help others assist you based on your specific info. |

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Audio Interface - Apollo x16 Pro Tools Studio: 2023.6 I should have checked there first, I'm a bit rusty. |

Its always nice to have important info included right in the post. Also, I replied to your addition to another thread and DUC rules say you should post your problem/question in 1 place, so please check my reply there and then come back and continue this thread(leave the other one as it is).
