considering selling SSL 5000 channel strips for outboard gear
we have been asked to pick up a 64 channel SSL 5000, refurb the channel strips, and turn them into 4 channel stand-alone packages for use as side-car or for protools users to route audio thru the outboard standalone channel strips.... If we did this would anyone be interested in a set of 4 or 8 self-contained SSL 5000 channel strips for their facility? We're thinking of selling them ready-to-use for around $2000 for 4 channel units.

If you are talking about the complete strip with micpre/eq/comp/lineand tape in then yes, maybe. What eq version do they have. e series/g sereies or ???

Yes, it would be 4 channels,power,io in a cabinet of some kind. i'll know more soon
