Default 'Error occurred w/ your interface'??

Hi,
My Digi 192 just began blinking (all the In/Out lights) and I received a message stating ' Error occurred with your Interface'. I saved the song and shut PT down.
Is it safe to start back up?
What could be causing this? The interface it only a few months old.
Any other ideas of what could be causing issues, and steps I can take to fix this so it doesn't happen again?

I would really appreciate any advice,
Thank you,
Rich
