Upgrading PT Software from LE 7.3 to HD 8??

Hi,

I already own and have registered PT 7.3 LE software. I now need PT 8 HD software to run my Digi 192 (software was not included).
Do I I need to purchase a brand new version of PT HD 8, or does the HD
'upgrade' software work to convert my PT 7.3 LE software into HD?

Is the HD upgrade ONLY for those who already own previous versions of PT
HD software, or does it upgrade other versions of PT software,
such as my LE version?

I own a Digi 192 I/O and just need to know if the PT 8 HD upgrade will succeed in
turning my LE software to HD, or do I need a fresh version of PT HD 8 (which I don't see in the digi store)?
I only see the HD 8 upgrade...

everything is currently being rebranded so don't expect anything to be available until after April 12.

Do you have a Core card to connect the 192 to the computer?

Yes, and a test at a friend's studio proved the card with the 192 to work perfectly using Windows 7.
Is there even a non-upgrade version of PT HD 8? I only see HD 8 upgrade on the store site, thus my initial question to see if that upgrade would convert my LE software to HD...
