Default Squashing Recycle Exported Midi Files

So I'm using Recycle to rebuild my kick track instead of Sound Replacer. I'm exporting the midi from within Recycle. I import it into PT's and as a Reason user would suspect, they're is an individual midi note for each slice of the Rex File.

My question to you is, is there a way to grab a large number of midi notes, regardless of what pitch values they may have, and send them to a specified pitch?

Thanks...

Hmmm, If im not mistaken, you can select all MIDI notes, drag them all to the top-most or bottom-most level of the MIDI window, and this will put them all on the furthermost note, then you can transpose them after that.

I think...anyway.

I know for a fact this trick works with different velocities on Midi notes... hopefulyl iwth notes too

I tried something like that last night but it took way too long to do.

I will revisit the process here soon to see if I can find a better method. I'll also be looking at throwin the midi to track in Reason and see if I can manipulate it there.

Would groove templates extract the midi data necessary for a kick? Velocity, Rhythm (note placement/duration), etc...

This sucks!!!!!

I thought Recycle would export a midi file that held velocity data. So let down...
