Pro Tools 2023.9 Delay Comp off after bounce

I've been dealing with a really weird bug in sessions lately.

After I bounce a session, the tracks play slightly out of sync from each other.

After I close and reopen the session, it is all back to good again. Simply changing playback buffer settings doesn't fix it.

I've noticed that every session this happens to, I am using folder tracks and I am wondering if there is something about the folder tracks that don't play back right after the bounce. The only plugin I have on the Folder Track itself is Devil-Loc. I've taken that plugin off of the folder track and it is still out of sync

I've freshly installed everything to the latest versions this last week, so I know it isn't a dated plugin or anything like that. It could be a new version of a specific plugin.

One other detail....

The bounce always sounds correct and if I bounce a second time while everything sounds out of sync, it bounces correctly again too. It's just during playback.

I noticed that when I mute the Folder Track, everything else sounds like it is in time.

Temporary Solution:

I have found a temporary solution. If I make the Folder Track inactive and active again, it will playback correctly again.

So my conclusion is that it has something to do with folder tracks getting off after a bounce is run.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Same problem here also with folder tracks. Have to make the folders inactive, then active to fix. 2023.9

I wish they would release a 2023.11 bug fix for this. This is really annoying and I may end up going back to 2023.6 for this one reason alone.

Have you reported it to Avid? Posting here is unlikely to get their attention. Everyone who's having this issue should please file a bug report.
