Is there anyway at all to make the digi 001 work with cool edit pro... or even it's newer version adobe audition? Please any help is appreciated, I hate sound forge and I love cool edit, i cant live without it.

Ahh, someone who thinks like me! I also completely love Cool Edit. Don't even get me started! Haven't used Audition yet, have you? Would love to...

Seriously, I have already researched this. There is no way you can record with your M-box or Digi rack in Cool Edit. Cool Edit does NOT support ASIO. It is a big bummer! You CAN play back through the Digi hardware with the Wave Driver and the DigiMME Helper (by Jon Rail Rogut) for editing only.

Have you seen that control surface for Cool Edit on eBay? The Red Rover.

wow, thanks i had no clue.... I love cool edit for its editing features, so thats all I wanna be able to do.. I wouldn't actually multitrack with it though. Adobe audition is good also but they changed a few things so I use both.
