Audio output problems again!!!!!

ok, ok. i'm sick of this. need help.

pro tools spits out audio just fine through my monitors.
itunes spits out audio just fine and so does quicktime, through my monitors.

BUT, as soon as i try to play a game or something, my audio then comes out of my crappy little G4 speaker.
no matter what i do in the sound preferences, this seems to happen.

please help, as this is driving me absolutely crazy. i mean, warcraft through a G4 speaker??!?!?!?

dual mirror door G4 867, 768 mgs memory, digi 001.

o.k. i just got off the phone with Applecare, and after a half an hour, they told me it was probably due to digi's soundcard, not their applications . . . .

digi? care to comment?

Hi,
We didn’t test any game applications with the Core Audio driver. You can try adding it to the list of supported in the Core Audio Setup. If that doesn’t work try connecting the output of your Mac to line in 3 and 4 on the 001. When you engage the monitor button on the front of the 001 it will pass the audio through and out the monitors you have connect to the 001.
