Go from Monterey to Ventura?
Hi! I am considering moving to Ventura from Monterey mainly to shake things up with a potentially better and snappier OS. But, is it worth it? Are there any benefits? Are there still some important plugins that don’t work? I am on Intel processors on a Mac Pro late 2019, so Silicon support is not an issue. I have tried to find a thread about this many times, but now I am starting a new one. Advice me, please!

If everything works, don't bother. Wait half a year until you upgrade your hardware, and then move to clean intel-free system on Sonoma.

Sure, you shouldn’t mend something that is not broken, but I have no plans to replace the 10k MacPro any time soon…Are there no upsides with Ventura?

Only upside I can see is it gets security updates longer, and PT updates should be easier on more current system. Latest Ventura before I upgraded for Sonoma was rock solid.

Here for the same answers. I’m on Monterey and it works pretty well. But I’m on an M1 Studio so wondering if I will get any benefit from Ventura, which I’m guessing is better-coded for a Silicon machine.
