I've "Feature Requested" it and encourage everyone to do the same if you haven't already.

There simply needs to be an option that allows you to make a selection in the App and then issue a "send to ICON as CF Group" command. It would be easier for everyone really. Somethings the mouse just does better and Selecting Tracks is one of them IMO.

I agree. It seems a little crazy to reduce CFs, make the group(s), and then increase CFs again.

How does one do a "feature request"? Do I send an email to digi or is just posting here good enough. Custom groups has the potential to be one of the coolest features but since it's such a pain, I often don't bother. Count me +1 for making it possible to select the tracks in the app an assign them to a D-command custom group.

I've sent a feature request where I'm asking for a way to create CF groups without reducing CFs first. The way it works now is a pain for those of us with only a main unit.
  1. Select the tracks
  2. Dive into CF groups
  3. Choose location (and optionally rename the CF group)
  4. Done
Much faster, and much easier.
