Recommended external hard drive for audio
Running a maxed out 2013 MacBook Pro, and upgrading from PTHD 11 to Ultimate...
Considering the Lacie thunderbolt drives. They have a 500GB SSD thunderbolt drive for $150. |

Re: Recommended external hard drive for audio
Lacie TB are great but make sure it is a SSD you buy as they sell a Lot of slow spinners and never say that so if it is a SSD with TB case you should get one if you like their stuff. A TB enclosure with a SAMSUNG EVO PRO is also a great drive or any of the later Samsung SSD’s so what you think is easiest. Lacie do good looking gear for sure and their larger SSD drives work great so why wouldn’t their 500GB do that aswell

Re: Recommended external hard drive for audio
I've been really happy with the Samsung T5 USB-C/USB-3.1 SSDs. I can run REALLY big sessions off of them with Disk Cache off and the Disk usage meter barely moves.
