Default Convert Aiffs to MP3s Puts my songs in slow motion

Here is the deal:
I bounce 2-3 tracks to disk @ 192 hz
I then drag and drop into iTunes and they play fine in iTunes
However, when i either create a cd or try to convert them to MP3 they turn out really slow.
What is the deal? Is it the converstionm rate or something else????

PT 6.9, Tiger, iTunes 4.9 G5 2.0 Ghz
