Need Help from some Pros in the Know

I have a Mac G3 yosemite 450 with 520 ram.I recently got Digital Perfomer 2.6 and Unity sampler program. I have no PCI interface. I have several things in my rack, Wavestation, Prophecy, Trinity, VS880, Echoplex, EPS, Akai 3200XLCD, RolandVG8 and more. Question. I have thought about the Digi 001 as PCI or Motu 1224. The Digi looks really cool the video is neat, but I really want to use DP and Unity. Help! any recommendations on what PCI card to use. At this time I don't think Digi 001 and DP are compatible Like Digi and Emagic. At this time I am leaning toward Digi 001 and if I have to getting a cheaper PCI into Digital Performer...I would like to use both system. This is all new to me and some help and direction from you pros would really be of value as I have been wrestling with this for awhile..watching Ebay for a cheap 1224 but ready to buy Digi OO1 just stalled at this time. I have read Digital Performer is 100% OMS compatible with Pro Tools

OMS does FreeMidi emulation. Getting it to work is the trick.
