7.3 on 10.4.9 bounces once, then nothing

hi

i have 7.3 on digi 002r running on a mac book pro 2.0 ghz, 2 gb ram running os x 10.4.9

pro tools has been running fine up until now, im getting the icon bouncing once then nothing

digi core audio still runs fine with ableton live, itunes, etc.

i just recently did a software update but specifically didnt upgrade to 10.4.10 because i was worried it would mess up pro tools - how ironic

I had the same situation with PT 7.3.1. Since then I already downgraded back to 7.1.1. Everything is fine now. I have also 002 with MacBook Pro, 2.16 gHz, 2GB RAM, and OS 10.4.9. Something is seriously wrong with 7.3.

I've had issues with this if I used an illegal character and/or if the length of file name was too long. Maybe try naming it a letter or a number and see if you find the file?

Go for the prebinding script- do a search for it in digidesign.com

Or do the Combo Update for your 10.4.9. You can download it from Apples support section. I'd try the script first since it's so tiny!






Edit: OH and don't do the automatic software update. Always go for the Combo!
