Shuttle dead on ProControl!

My machine only or is it a bug?

mmm... its only a guess but... Did you update the firmware?

How do you update, isn't that supposed to be automatic ?

Try reconfiguring the PC in Setups > Peripherals > Eithernet Controllers. Disable and reenable enet and let Pro Tools search for ProControl units. You should be prompted to download the new firmware to the PC if need. The updated firmware is already loaded on your system so just hit download and it will update the firmware for you.

Just so you know... I use PT6.1 OSX and the ProControl and the shuttle button works fine...

I've tried to reenable without luck! When you press shuttle it first engages but drops in a fraction of a second.

Will Pro Tools go into playback when using the on screen transport? Are you trying to lock to TC with the transport online? Are there any messages in the lower left hand corner of the edit window like "waiting for sync"?

Shuttle works when controlling a machine but not when the transport is set so protools, doesn't matter if the machine is online or not.

In the lower left it says Shuttle for a part of a second and then falls back to Waiting for Sync, if the machine is online.

I'm using a Digibeta (Serial Timecode), everything is referenced to House Sync.

On screen transport works well.
It all worked well under 6.01

While I'm at it, is there any benefit of connecting LTC as well as Serial Timecode?
