Default Editing question

Ok, I'm laying sown an acoustic part with 2 mics...It's a repeating part so I want to take one solid take of it and loop it throughout the rest of the song (lining it up witht he drum, bass and what not)...I have no problem highlighting the section and putting the track together...The problem I'm having is taking both miced tracks and copying them together and pasting them together. When I copy them both (the segments I want to loop), and I try to paste them both together, only one of them gets pasted to the track...It's the one that I happen to have the cursor over when I "paste"...So, how can I get both copied tracks to be pasted together...Thank you...

Group them. Select both tracks, hit Ctrl G.

Yep... Just like EGS said (hey GY!). Also FYI - You can drag the mouse cursor over two or more tracks to paste each simultaneously (even if not grouped). Another way is to SHIFT + (click) each track...

As with most software, there's about a half-dozen ways to do the same thing... Good luck...

Are you trying to paste two separate tracks into one? that would explain why only one track is pasting. You'd have to paste both into one stereo ( or two separate mono ) tracks.
