Default Shift click and Cmd click stopped working PT 2019.10

Hi everyone!

Some of the most basic shortcuts don’t work anymore. I recently upgraded from PT 12 to PT 2019.10 (Ultimate). Unfortunately, I can’t remember 100% whether this issue did occur together with the upgrade or appeared later. If I am not mistaken though I think it first worked in PT 2019.10 Ultimate and occurred only later on while having started already working with this version.
There are some previous posts addressing some of the issues for previous versions of PT, but unfortunately none of them seems to have solved them. So I am trying my luck again.

I have trashed all preference and database files.
Please note that I have a PC (HP Elite Book 850 G3) and a windows system, my keyboard is set to US English and when I below speak about the shortcuts, I refer to the Mac shortcuts, but am fully aware of the fact that in windows cmd is ctrl, opt is alt etc...
For more info I have pasted the Sandra Report below.

The issues and questions are as follows:

A) shift-clicking with the grabber tool to select multiple vertically adjacent clips doesn't work.

When just performing the standard grabber tool shift-click, it would only select the last clip in addition to the first, but all clips in between are not getting selected. Strangely, it does work to select horizontally adjacent clips with shift-clicking. The only way to select multiple vertically adjacent clips at the moment is either to select the first clip, and then shift-click on the track (name) of the track of the last clip to be included in the selection, or shift-clicking every single clip I want to include.
On the other hand, there is also a problem when selecting non-adjacent clips:

For selecting non-adjacent clips vertically I currently have to press shift. If I press command, the selection would jump to the second clip I clicked on.
For selecting non-adjacent clips horizontally, there is no way I currently can do that: When pressing command, the selection jumps to the second clip I clicked on, when pressing shift command, all clips in between get selected as well.
Please note that also de-selecting single clips with cmd clicking doesn't work at all.

B) is there a shortcut for de-selecting all tracks without using the mouse?
Obviously, I can option-click/click but I thought there might be a more efficient way to do this?

C) is there any way move or copy-paste clips including the content of their respective playlists underneath without actually opening up all the playlists, and selecting all clips of the playlists to make sure playlist content gets moved/copied alongside?

D) Is there any short cut to de-select the first or last clip in a row of multiple horizontally selected clips similar to ctrl+opt+ P or ; for de-selecting vertically?

E) Is there a shortcut to snap the selection going past a clip back to the clip end or snapping the selection starting before the clip to the beginning of the clip.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi, welcome to the community. I needed to manually approve your post which was apparently too compliex at the moment. You need few simple posts published before these, or posts with links, are okay.
