Playback 3sec looping audio problem

Hi people,
first post here after reading a lot of stuff.
My Problem:
I just installed my HD2 System on SL and have done the optimizations from avid.

Unfortunately I can always only hear the same 3 seconds of audio when I go into playback in a session.
You start playback and for 3seconds everything is okay, then the audio loops these 3 seconds again and again although video and Sync I/O go on with video playback. Just like a defect vinyl record that jumps back again. No error messages appear.

I had big problems trying to get HD9 to work on Win7 and gave up.

I hope the system will be working on SnowLeopard now.

Any suggestions on my issue?


System:
OSX 1.6.7 (8GB Ram, GA-EP35-DS4 mainboard, Nvidia graphics)
Protools HD9 (Core+Accel Card)
Blackmagic Intensity Pro card

I tried it now using my RME Raydat PCIe Card instead of the Digidesign Hardware and then everything works flawless - it was the same on Windows7.

I guess there is a problem with my audio drivers. I installed the 9.0 drivers from Avid HP but that didn't change anything.

After running Digitest (without any failures) I switched the TDM Cards - seems to run without problems - for now.
