Folders/restoring solo connections

I am using ultimate 2020.12 on a mac mini with thunderbolt native/omni. been working solid for a while and just started implementing folders to keep sessions organized. It's the only thing i can think of that i have changed recently. It was working fine for a few weeks but now i seem to have problems opening any sessions at all and i get hung up on " restoring solo connections ..." as a session is attempting to open and have to force quit.



If I take a problematic session and import session data just the tracks and no folders, everything seems to work solid again as before I started using folders. anyone have any similar issues that might help me find a solution?

Hello, sir; have you found a solution to this problem, by chance? It's been recurring on my system, quite out of the blue, recently, and is wildly frustrating. I've have a support ticket in with Avid for 20 days with no solution yet. Lots of back and forth.

What OSX are you running? You;ve left out that one bit of info in your sig file and profile.
