Default Heat still available after lapse of Update and Support Plan

I let my AVID Update and Support plan lapse effective 12/30/2023, leaving me with a perp license of PT Studio 2023.12. I use a 2019 Intel i5 27" iMac running under OS Ventura 13.6.6.

The AVID Heat plugin continues to function fully notwithstanding the lapse of my Update and Support plan. Heat works with old sessions that had Heat engaged before the Update and Support plan lapsed, with old sessions in which I added Heat after the Update and Support plan lapsed, and with new sessions created after the Update and Support plan lapsed. The Heat plugin license shows up as "expired" on my iLok.

Nice bug.

Hey, David here from the Avid Community. That is quite odd. I've already created as case for this: 04778323

Thanks for letting us know. Let me know if you need any help.

I don't need a case, but thanks anyway. I'd much rather just keep things as they are.

I don't recall Avid ever responding so quick to a bug report. Lol. Probably should have kept quiet about this "feature."
