Marker behavior broken in 2023.6

I've only just figured out what you've been talking about, and yes - I totally agree that the behavior change is really a bug.

My failure (and probably others) to grasp your explanation is because you have not been using the correct term for the window. It's called "Memory Locations", not "marker window", or "memory locate window".
That's why everyone has been talking about the Markers Ruler, the timeline, and suchlike. I thought you were trying to Ctrl+Click in the marker ruler to update a marker position that was out of view. I couldn't make sense of such a task.

This bug could be explained simply for the Avid staff with this line:
The long-standing ability to update a Memory Locations Marker position using Control+Click is now broken in Pro Tools 2023.6

I'd agree this new behavior is a bummer - I tend to use the ctl-click in the timeline and number-pad entry method, so this one doesn't bother me *so* much, but I don't see a reason why the Memory Locations window functionality had to change - I hope it's restored.

One issue I ran up against was that I had two markers with identical timecode but I wanted to move one to the cursor position. This was impossible because it wasn't visible in the timeline and ctrl+clicking the marker in the Memory Locations window calls the Edit Memory Location dialogue which has no position field.

FYI, I was contacted by Avid and this has been logged as a bug. No timeline on a fix but they're looking at it. Hopefully it will happen soon! Thank you!

While we're on the subject, has anyone else noticed that the number of Memory Locations available for editing has reverted to 999 in this version (2023.6?)

I just upgraded from 2023.3 and lost the ability to enter numbers up to 9999, which we had in that version. Avid was touting this feature...and I actually like it and use it.

I see the improvements to the Memory Location Ruler and track views in the new version on the Silicon Native instance of the program.
It seems to have disappeared when running in Rosetta, which I have to do in order to use some essential AAX plugins.

Is this a bug or a feature?
Can we get it back to what it was in 2023.3?
