MC Mix with ProTools 9

Upgraded to PT 9 on Monday, and boy what a difference it has made with my MC Mix.

Loving the better functionality - automating sends, and plug-in control is tons better, and a lot faster. Also track jumping (when selecting a track on Pt the mixer jumps to it) is working excellently (thought you could do this previously but never could get it to work). Really has helped to speed up my workflow.

Still early days in experimenting, but now seriously considering an MC Control to tag onto it.

Anyone know whether the Control has touchscreen 5.0 panning??

It has a special tab on the touch screen, along with where you can choose to view all the tracks in a session for quick selection / muting / rec enable, or chose the assignable soft buttons. The next tab is for Surround Panning, and will work with the selected track. I believe it will work for whatever size surround set up you have (it also works on stereo or mono tracks, to pan from left to right - though on a stereo track, you have to choose left pan or right pan).
